Rest and restore is a grounding practice designed to help you arrive exactly as you are.
Through restful asana, guided pranayama, mindfulness, and meditation, this class offers space to be present with the body and nervous system.
Supported postures invite deep rest while breath and awareness practices encourage reflection and release.
Blankets, pillows, journals, stim toys, and any other therapeutic sensory support tools such as ear plugs or a squishy are welcome and encouraged.
Ambient music is played during the asana portions of the practice.
*This class is part of a quarterly weekly schedule at Santa Clara University in the multi-purpose room of the Malley Recreation Center. Classes are free for faculty, staff, and students. Memberships and drop-ins for the general public are also available. Click here for more details.
